As a passionate advocate for national parks, I believe there is always more that can be done to celebrate and promote them. Given that most national parks have limited funding for advertising and marketing, yet often feature gift shops offering memorabilia, I saw an opportunity to create something both informative and visually appealing.

 

I designed a colorful, topographic map that not only educates viewers about the park's geography but also serves as a stylish addition to home décor, all while raising awareness for the park itself. Taking an abstract approach to the map design, I aimed to create a unique product that would stand out in the gift shop and offer visitors a distinctive and meaningful souvenir. This product was produced solely for my personal portfolio.
