Branding the Poe Museum

During my tenure at the Edgar Allan Poe Museum, I developed and executed a comprehensive branding package encompassing both design and text. Drawing inspiration from the fashion of the Victorian era and the macabre aesthetics of Edgar Allan Poe, I curated a striking visual identity characterized by black-and-white imagery with dramatic contrasts. The color palette I selected incorporated deep reds, purples, and blacks to evoke a sense of mystery and gothic elegance. Additionally, I crafted written content using verbiage reminiscent of Poe’s distinctive style—mournful yet tinged with sharp wit.

To enhance the user experience, I revamped the museum's social media presence, print materials, and website to align with the newly established brand. This cohesive update led to a notable increase in followers, website traffic, and museum engagement.
