The tradition of wedding cards are one of the few ways that print media have survived in the world of technology. I love working in print media since my roots are in magazine and newspaper design. Wedding cards are often mass produced and basic, so I added a twist by creating a border out of the flower painting. This makes the cards pop and stand out in the card aisle. In order to make the Save the Date card cohesive with the invitation, I played with 3d in the type and flowers to make the cards as memorable as the wedding itself.
